PASSPORTS & VISAS

Well it looks like Ireland is going to happen - we're ordering our visas! I feel like we've been on hold for a long time and someone is getting ready to shoot the starting gun. Two years seems like a long time. Mr. L is coming home this Friday. He's been there for 2 weeks. He'll be home 2 weeks then go back. He rented a car this time and has been driving over there. (yikes!) He said he is staying at an old converted "Jane Eyre" type manor home. The hotel rooms are in a new addition. It's out in the country. He says it's pretty cool. He went to church this Sunday and found out the ward we will probably be in. I looked on the church website and there are only 3 or 4 wards in Ireland and the rest are branches. There are like 10-12 wards and branches. We will be in the Preston, England temple district.

Wow, it's really going to happen. You are going to have some incredible experiences. In a way I envy you and in a way I feel sorry for you. Weird, huh?

do they drive on the left side of the road there like in England? that hotel dad is in sounds gorgeous, I hope you have internet over there because I wanna see tons of pictures on your blog! When I was doing my autumn collage I kept coming across pictures of this forest in Kilkearney, Ireland which I guess is close to dublin, it looks gorgeous you'll have to check it out. Two years is a long time, I'll miss you guys so much but I'm excited you get to have this opportunity and this time together, you both deserve it so much!

I SO want to come visit. I'm not sure if she was serious, but when I told Mom that, she said, "I'll come with you!". But frankly, I can't see Dad staying alone, and I'm not sure he would try to make the trip.
