ROCK GARDENS
Since I've been away for 5 months, I've really missed my home. Now that I'm here, I have this desire to clean, throw out junk and redecorate inside, and do some landsaping outside. In the past couple of years, we've put up a new fence/wall in our backyard, and pulled out some horrible bushes. In place of those bushes I want to do a rock garden. I don't want anyone to do this for me, I want the pleasure of doing it myself. Here's some pictures to give you an idea:

Oh those are beautiful! Post some pictures when you do it. I love that one with the pinkish flowers cascading down.

I noticed that you'r reading Angels and Demons. Do you like it? I want to read it before I go the movie that came out yesterday. I was glad to have the background of Davinci Code before I saw the movie.
I love rock gardens. I understand how you feel about missing your home. I have thought about that since you went to Ireland. Someone told me I should move in with my mother-in-law to take care of her until she dies, and I have to admit, the thought filled me with dread to move into someone else's house. I guess I am too selfish, but anyone who can't live alone will have to move in with me.

I love the pictures but my bet is that you won't get the rock moss in ABQ
That'll be nice to have just so we don't have all the weeds spring up all over the place.
I'll bet she can get some moss growing there. We have it here in the Mojave/
this will look really cool when it's all done!! :)
I love it. I want to do something similar in this corner of my yard that is yucky...
