I've been tending my 2 granddaughters for about 3 days while their mom had a new baby boy. The youngest is 3 1/2 and really kept me chuckling with her comments. One day we were on our way to the hospital to see her mom (the older daughter was at school). I said to my granddaughter, "You are my favorite _____(her name). " She replied, "Grandma, I'm not a toy!
One night we were all going to the hospital to visit and I was driving. As I pulled into the parking place I hit the curb. She exclaimed, "Grandma! You almost hurt my feelings!"
The first night she cried because she didn't want to sleep at my house. The next night she cried because she DID want to sleep at my house and didn't want to go home with her dad. (They slept overnight again.)

Cute! I would love a perma-3 year old. I think kids are so cute from ages 2-4 because they say so many funny things.

Grandchildren are the best because you can usually wind them up and sugar them up then send them home! Sounds like you had a great time. Glad the new one is OK too!!
