Satan tries so hard in those years, because he knows that is when so many of life's important decisions are being made.
I think it is wonderful when we have teachers who love their students and the students feel it. That's when teaching really takes place and influences forever.
Nene, you were never a bad person. Never. And people have always been, and always will be, drawn to you. You've got a little extra-something about you.Inklingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14173567199140492921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1586463381137391843.post-22454058660820041652009-04-16T18:25:00.000-06:002009-04-16T18:25:00.000-06:00Yeah but they know the rules so they should be all...Yeah but they know the rules so they should be allowed to be trusted to do the right thing rather than being condemned...and yeah, Mom, I hope everyone has somebody in their life like that...I've had a lot of teachers like that throughout my life and I think everyone of them made me a better person...Bullet for Babshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10131351430518593054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1586463381137391843.post-74795989878985496102009-04-16T17:38:00.000-06:002009-04-16T17:38:00.000-06:00I disagree D. You can accept them for who they are, while still holding them to a higher standard, and encouraging them to meet that standard. Don't put them down, but let them know that you expect better of them.Stickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17533155174637831890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1586463381137391843.post-36928987979424068292009-04-16T15:19:00.000-06:002009-04-16T15:19:00.000-06:00I've had alot of those doubting kind of people thr...I've had alot of those doubting kind of people throughout my life. I had a boyfriend in High school, and many people in our Ward thought I was horrible because I kissed him. It has been interesting to see their own kids make more mistakes in their lives than I did.

I think some times we are our own worst enemy though. We see our mistakes and weaknesses as being much larger than other do.

Our Bishop is the kind of man your teacher was. He recently told the youth leaders that he didn't want anyone to ever criticize the youth for the way they are dressed. I think he's right. They may not be dressed appropriately at times, but we don't ever want them to feel that we look down on them. We should make them feel, like your teacher did, that we care about them, and we believe they can be better than they are.Delirioushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01564398770468606675noreply@blogger.com
